Flashed Sprint iPhone 4 to Page Plus with iOS7

Just flashed a Sprint iPhone 4 to page plus with working 3G data, MMS, talk, text, and was on iOS 5.1 (tethered jailbreak, was absolutely horrible). Updated to iOS 6.1 and also had a tethered jaikbreak, but successfully flashed it to PagePlus again.


iOS7 was seeded to our developer account, and downloaded the correct version a few hours later.

This iPhone 4 is an old (Bad ESN) Sprint 8GB with a cracked screen, and has been more of a testing phone for the flashes.

I was planning on updating the iPhone to iOS7 to test it out, and did the (Shift + Restore) in iTunes, choosing the ipsw for iOS7. After the iPhone was restored successfully, and the phone was logged in the developer program, I set up the phone, went through all the steps, and the iPhone went through the activation process, where it successfully started picking up 3G / talk & text / MMS, right off the bat.

To make it simple, you can update any flashed iPhone to newer software versions, and they will remain flashed. Resetting the network settings seems to knock out the flash, but totally restoring it to the same or newer firmware will keep the flash intact.

Now running iOS7 on an un-jailbroken Sprint iPhone 4 with a Bad ESN. Was pretty impressed when I restored the iPhone and noticed that the flash was still intact.
